If you look at the billboards or the major brand feeds, performance is usually portrayed in a very specific way: young, elite, and almost exclusively under a size 14. If you don’t fit that mould—if you’re over 40, if you’re a "slow" runner, or if you’ve ever felt "invisible" at a starting line—the industry’s message has been clear: This isn’t for you.
At KitFox, we’re here to say that the industry is wrong.
KitFox wasn't born in a corporate boardroom or a fashion house. It was born from my dining room table, fuelled by 500+ survey responses from real women, and refined on the muddy trails of the UK.
Our mission is simple: To be the voice of the invisible athlete.
Performance-Led, Not Fashion-Driven
Many brands are "performance-led" until it becomes inconvenient to grade a pattern beyond a size 16. Others are "fashion-led," prioritising the "colour of the season" over whether a pocket can actually hold a phone without bouncing.
We’ve chosen a different path. We are Feedback-Driven.
Every seam, every waistband, and every pocket in the KitFox collection exists because you told us it was missing. We aren't chasing trends; we’re chasing the perfect, chafe-free run. We believe that high-performance kit shouldn't be a reward for being fast or "fitting in"—it should be a right for every woman who finds the courage to lace up.

1. We See the "Invisible" Whether you’re a Gen X trail-blazer or a parkrun newbie, we see your miles. We design for the midlife movers, the endurance hunters and the women who've just discovered their love for the run - everyone who is often ignored by the "youth-obsessed" algorithm.
2. Radical Inclusivity We reject the "size 16 cap." Inclusivity isn't a marketing buzzword for us; it’s a design requirement. Our kit is engineered to respect and support the changing female form, regardless of age or fitness level.
3. Innovation Through Conversation We don’t guess what you need. We ask. Our innovation comes directly from the lived experiences of our community. If a feature doesn’t solve a real-world running problem, it doesn't make it into our kit.
4. Community Over Competition We aren't just selling clothes; we’re building a support network. We celebrate the euphoric feeling of accomplishment—whether that’s a 100-mile ultra or your first 10 minutes without walking.
