The KitFox Reset Legging Just Earned 4 Stars from Women's Running Magazine

We built the Reset Legging because women told us, in no uncertain terms, exactly what was missing from the running leggings on the market. So when Women's Running Magazine sat down to review them, we were nervous in the way you only are when something you've poured yourself into gets judged by someone with no reason to be kind about it.

They gave the Reset Legging 4 out of 5 stars.

What the reviewer said

"Designed to stay put, these high-waisted leggings don't shift on me at all, whether I'm doing hill sessions or legs-in-the-air reformer Pilates workouts. They've got a pleasingly flat front (with no crotch seam), a zipped back pocket and two roomy thigh pockets, and the simple navy colourway works with all my other gear... The fit was reassuringly firm on me through the waist, bum and thighs, but a tiny bit loose on the lower leg. The good news is that a solid returns policy from KitFox offers the opportunity to work out the best fit for you, and extra kudos goes to that very inclusive sizing in the first place."

Why the Reset Legging performs differently

Every feature the reviewer picked out started as a specific complaint from the runners we surveyed before designing this collection:

A high-waisted, stay-put fit. No sliding, no tugging mid-run — tested through hill sessions and Pilates, not just a gentle jog.

A flat, seam-free front. No crotch seam means no friction and no "camel toe" — a detail most mainstream brands still overlook.

Real storage. A zipped back pocket plus two roomy thigh pockets, so a phone, key or gel doesn't mean carrying a separate bag.

A reflective fox ankle logo. A small nod to visibility for early morning or evening runs.

Genuinely inclusive sizing. Available UK 8–22 from day one — not as an afterthought range, but as the standard size run.

Built for bodies that change, not just bodies that are young

KitFox exists because performance gear has historically been designed for one body type and one life stage, and everyone else has been expected to make do. The Reset Legging, and the wider Reset Collection, was built from the opposite direction: starting with what real runners' bodies actually need, at every stage.

That's what made a line like "extra kudos goes to that very inclusive sizing" land the way it did. It's not a side note to us — it's the whole point.

A note on fit

The reviewer's one piece of constructive feedback was that the leg sits a touch loose below the knee, even with a firm fit through the waist, bum and thighs. That tracks with what we hear from most runners: fit through the leg can vary more than fit through the waist, simply because leg shapes vary more. If you're between sizes or prefer a snugger ankle, we'd suggest sizing down and using our free 60-Day returns to fine-tune — exactly the safety net the reviewer pointed to.
